In principle any time if your home has not been tested yet. The
EPA recommends that every REAL ESTATE transaction of a home in the United
States includes a Radon test. Levels may vary due to local geological conditions,
and due to seasonal long term conditions or short term fluctuations. This means that
the Radon level in one home may be low in Summer, and high in Winter. Depending on
the result of a test the EPA has established recommendations. Also the EPA recommends
every home in the U.S. should be tested because the level of a home can not be used
as an indication for the level of a neighboring home. ![]()
